The High Street Scholarship Contest at High Street Dental Clinic

Dental Health is a major medical issue in the UK, with half of young children having tooth decay and a quarter of those having  teeth removed. High Street Dental Clinic take great pride in promoting excellent dental health in in Bristol, and at the foundation of our work is raising people’s awareness of the steps they can take to protect their teeth. Because of this, High Street Dental Clinic is very proud to unveil the High Street Scholarship Contest, a creative writing competition that aims to raise awareness of the things you can do to avoid tooth decay and keep your smile gleaming in the future. The winner of the High Street Scholarship Contest will win a scholarship worth £1000 to help pay for the costs of higher education

Eligibility:

This contest is open to all students (no age limit).

Requirements:

Winners must write a piece of creative writing on the effects of tooth decay. Our panel of dental experts will judge each entry by their accuracy, attention to detail and the creativity of the writer. Contestants are strictly limited to 500 words.

Judging:

Dental experts at High Street Dental Clinic will judge each written piece based on the creative ways it advises the reader on how to stop tooth decay, as well as the accuracy and attention to detail within.

How to Enter:

Once you have completed your written piece, send it to us via email to: scholarships.highstreetdental@gmail.com

Please include the following with your entry:

  • Your Name, Address and Telephone Number.
  • The Sixth Form College College, Vocational School or University you will attend this year.
  • Your degree path or the subject you are studying.

Deadlines:

All entries must arrive to us by August 15th, 2019.

We wish to give each submission our full attention, and will be reviewing all submissions with great care before deciding our winner.

We will announce the winner of the High Street Scholarship Contest as soon as we have read all submissions and made our final verdict.
